The story
Why we built ISLTech
Filip Mojicevic spent years in AI engineering before founding ISLTech — building production systems with large language models, voice synthesis, and real-time transcription. He saw something obvious during that time: the technology had reached a quality where it could genuinely replace voicemail. But almost nobody outside of AI labs was using it.
Meanwhile, the businesses that need it most — independent restaurants, boutique hotels, small dental practices — were losing a steady stream of calls to voicemail. Every missed call is a missed booking, a missed customer, a missed revenue opportunity. Most callers won't leave a voicemail. They just call a competitor instead.
The gap was clear: world-class AI exists, real businesses need it, but the path between them is broken. AI labs don't talk to dentists. SaaS platforms don't customize per practice. Generic chatbots don't sound like a real receptionist.
ISLTech bridges that gap. We take the same technology used by Google, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs, and deploy it for businesses that need dependable 24/7 and after-hours call coverage — natural conversations, with a clean handoff to a human when a call needs one.
We're based in Belgrade, but our work happens across time zones — UK practices, US restaurants, EU hotels. Belgrade gives us strong engineering talent and the discipline that comes from competing globally from a smaller market.

Honest about what AI can and can't do
We tell prospects what the AI handles well and what it shouldn't try. No promises that anything is fully autonomous. No hiding the edge cases.
Real engineering, not orchestration
We write code, build integrations, and operate the infrastructure ourselves. Not a thin wrapper around someone else's product.

Filip is the person you'll talk to during onboarding, the person who reviews your prompts before launch, and the person who answers when something breaks.

We grow one client at a time. Every deployment is a real engagement with real stakes. We'd rather have ten clients we can serve excellently than a hundred we can serve poorly.
